Structure, transmission and expression of genome

Person in charge

Objectives

To describe the universal mechanisms that direct the transmission, maintenance and expression of genomes. The mechanisms of the dynamics of gene expression and maintenance of cell identity will be discussed. Of course, the particularities of the specific mechanisms of each of the three domains of living organisms, archaea, bacteria and eukaryotes, will also be studied. Finally, particular attention will be paid to the genomic integration of these molecular processes.
