The « Neural regulation of Immunity » team at CIML is recruiting a postdoctoral fellow for 3 to 5 years. The position will be available in January 2024.
The Centre d’Immunologie de Marseille-Luminy (CIML) is a world-class immunology research institute located on a pluridisciplinary campus in Marseille, France, at the gates of the beautiful Calanques National Park. The CIML hosts ~200 members of various nationalities, in 14 established research teams, 5 core facilities or administrative support services (http://www.ciml.univ-mrs.fr/). It offers state-of-the-art equipment and expertise in its core-facilities, including in flow cytometry, imaging, histology, genomics, and computational biology. The CIML is affiliated with Inserm, CNRS and Aix-Marseille University and has established strong connections with other research institutes and public hospitals in Marseille. This rich multidisciplinary environment and access to state-of-the- art technology should ensure the successful development of the research program.
The scientist will be part of a multidisciplinary research program aimed at exploring novel topics in Neuroimmunology and inflammatory diseases.
We are looking for a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher with a PhD in Immunology, Neuroscience or Neuroimmunology. An excellent scientific track record and expertise in molecular and cell biology techniques, microscopy, flow cytometry, and in vivo studies in mice will be important selection criteria.
